In 1983, Kathy Walters discovered Kirkwood and has never left. Arriving from San Diego, it was the friendly small town life, stunning Sierra beauty, definitive four seasons and outdoor mountain sports that captured her heart. Alpine skiing is still her passion, but backcountry skiing, hiking, biking, cross country skiing and summers spent beaching at the local lakes is what she loves best. Kathy has been a full time Kirkwood resident, homeowner, employee and active community member for twenty seven years. Kathy began her sales career with Kirkwood Mountain Realty 13 years ago. “This is the perfect job for me: I just love all the interesting people I am fortunate to meet and how it allows me to radiate my genuine passion and knowledge of the area”.
